A conference in Naval History
Recent years have seen a new expansion of naval history. With new aspects of the subject being researched and current perspectives being expanded, the attraction of the subject to new scholars has grown, and in response fresh and innovative questions are being addressed.
We, the members of Organising Committee, are pleased to announce a conference in naval history to be held in All Souls College, University of Oxford, on the 26th and 27th March 2010. We particularly welcome papers from various backgrounds outside of the traditional confines of naval history, and strongly encourage applications from advanced PhD and postdocs.
This conference provides an opportunity for the new generations of naval historians to present papers before an audience of research students, naval personnel, and recognized authorities in Naval History including N.A.M. Rodger and Andrew Lambert.
